Student internships for 11th and 12th graders are experiences where students intern with an employer for approximately 15 weeks of a semester to learn about a particular industry or occupation.

Internship programs extend formal classroom learning into the community.  Internships are:

• Paid or unpaid (usually unpaid)

• Practical applications of technical and life skills

• Related to the students' career goals
