The 2023-24 school year will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 15, for students in the Iron County School District. The Board of Education voted 3-2 to make the change to the proposed school year calendar during its regular meeting.
Board members also finalized goals for the upcoming school year and approved a compensation schedule for employees.
