Students work on assignments at Launch High

Launch High School is a non-traditional school that offers high school students competency-based education for core classes. Through projects, students get life experiences working with businesses and utilizing their strengths to show understanding.

The school is currently housed in a business building near the district offices. It has one actual classroom and a maker space. Other business offices are used by faculty and the district's technology department. Iron Online also uses a portion of the building.

The bond proposal includes a building designed specifically for Launch High and Southwest Education Academy. The building would allow both programs to expand the number of students they serve. It will also allow Launch to have more than one classroom.
