The open enrollment request form indicating school choice and other demographic information should be submitted to the Iron County School District offices prior to Monday, February 17, 2025.

The Iron County School District reserves the right to extend this deadline. Students and parents should review the special guidelines for transfer consideration identified on the Open Enrollment Form. Iron County School District reserves the right to either deny a transfer request or move a student back to their boundary school if the open enrollment guidelines are not followed.

The principal's signature is not necessary when submitting this form. The principals will be informed at a later time. Students and parents will be notified of acceptance prior to Friday, March 7, 2026.

In the October 22, 2024, public meeting, the school board declared the following schools as open to out-of-boundary students: Escalante Valley Elementary (K-6); North Elementary (K-5); Parowan Elementary (K-6); Canyon View Middle School (6-9); Cedar High School (9-12); Canyon View High School (9-12); and Parowan High School (7-12). Schools closed to out-of-boundary students are: East Elementary (K-5); Enoch Elementary (K-5); Fiddlers Elementary (K-5); Iron Springs Elementary (K-5), South Elementary (K-5); Three Peaks Elementary (K-5) and 6th Grade at Cedar Middle School. Schools are declared as open when they have a projected enrollment of less than 90% of the school's capacity.
