On Wednesday, March 6th, members of the CMS Esports team traveled to University of Utah to participate in the Ken Garff Esports Celebration. There were 25 students and 2 teacher/coaches traveling to Salt Lake City leaving very early in the morning. The top three high school teams in the state competed in three different video games at this event. Our middle school students enjoyed watching this competition. Our Smash Bros team also participated in a competition with other middle school teams. There were great vendors and booths for the students to peruse. Students could participate in open play with other Esport players. Overall, the students had a great time exploring their interests in Esports! And thank you Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Hardman for organizing such an amazing field trip for our students.
