The Utah Music Foundation is offering a new band scholarship to honor long-time Cedar High Band Instructor Steve Shirts. Mr. Shirts taught band for 32 years, before retiring in 2019. During his time at CHS his ensembles received numerous superior awards in Region and State. His Pep Band was without a doubt one of the very best Pep Bands in the state! Mr. Shirts was inducted into the Utah Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in 2021.
