- Elementary Students (K-6) considering online instruction are encouraged to enroll in Iron K-6 Online School. Students will work online with support from an Iron District teacher during school hours. These teachers will not likely be teachers from a student’s boundary school. Iron K-6 Online School will cover the same standards as traditional campus schools. Students will work in Canvas with the bulk of their instruction in Edgenuity’s Pathblazers online. Attendance will be taken based on online activity and tasks completed each week. Parents will need to provide supervision and guidance from home planning on around 3-5 hours per day of schoolwork. If you would like to enroll your student in Iron K-6 Online, please contact your boundary school to express interest. Login information will be sent through email in 1-2 days following enrollment. - Secondary Students (7-12) The Iron County School District has partnered with Sundance Learning Group. Sundance will be providing a supportive network of teachers and mentors to provide a personalized educational experience for each student. Sundance will provide digital content via the Spark LMS to provide online courses for students in grades 7th-12th. Spark offers many courses designed to engage and inspire every student. Each course is built and aligned to the Common Core Standards and Objectives. The curriculum provides appropriate rigor paired with multi-layered and diverse assessments throughout the course to provide feedback to students as they learn and to teachers allowing them to differentiate instruction as needed. Students who choose this option will remain enrolled in their boundary school. For more information, contact your boundary school counselor.

- Home-School Curriculum: For those interested in online Home-School programs we have partnered with providers including My Tech High (K-12) or Harmony Education (K-9). These are fully self-contained online programs with teachers from My Tech High and Harmony Education supporting students as they progress. Students will be enrolled under Southwest Education Academy (SEA) which is an Iron County School, however parents will have the opportunity to select the online curriculum best suited for their student. Secondary students who would like to take up to two classes in their boundary school will have that option. NCAA and Military options need to be considered. Many of these options are Pass/Fail and we recommend discussing your options with these providers directly via their websites below.
