Introducing the members of the CVHS chapter of the Technology Student Association (TSA) for the 2018 school year. On Tuesday and Wednesday this week they traveled to the Davis Applied Technology College to take part in the Utah TSA state conference and skills competitions. Each of them performed exceptionally well in their contest areas. Some of the areas the team competed in include; Debating Technical Issues, Future Technology Teacher, Fashion Design, Webmaster, CAD Architecture, CAD Engineering, Architectural Design (Model building), Music production, and more. Canyon View High's TSA received several compliments about their courteous and polite behavior as well as their conduct both in victory and defeat.
Many of these young men and women have put in a lot of hours and materials to create the projects that they presented to the judges. Both of their Architectural Design teams who had the challenge of designing green homes from shipping containers placed well in competition. The Fashion team took top honors and they had the theme of 80's fashion. Most of the other students made it to the the semifinals in their contests as well.
Here are a couple of links to the state and national sites as well as the site the TSA webmasters made. http://bryce.website/index.html http://utahtsa.org/wp/ http://www.tsaweb.org/
