CTE Internship Partners

The Iron County School District welcomes partnerships with business/organizations willing to provide internship opportunities for interested high school juniors and seniors. Career and Technical Education Internships provide students with on-the-job training opportunities related to their career goals, designed to bridge the gap between school and work.

Canyon View, Cedar, and Parowan High Schools offer CTE Internship courses where students learn job search, application, interview and employability skills, as well as workplace safety. They then have the opportunity to spend an hour a day, two or three days a week, for approximately 15 weeks as interns in real-world settings.

For more information about internships, see the internship website. If you are interested in providing an internship opportunity for a high school junior or senior student, contact Karen Johnson, 435-586-2804, karen.johnson@ironmail.org.
