Dear Iron County School District Community,
In an effort to meet the continuing and expanding needs of the students, faculty and staff of Iron County School District in the most efficient and effective way, District administration recently proposed changes to the District administration organizational structure. The changes were discussed and approved by the Board of Education in its November and December meetings, and were made effective as of January 1, 2021.
As a result of these changes, Janette Stubbs has had a change in assignment and will now serve as the Director of Human Resources for the District. Previous to the change, Janette was serving as the Professional Development/ESL Coordinator for the District, where many of her duties were focused on professional development and personnel engagement and retention efforts that will translate well as she moves into this new assignment. Janette also completed and received a Human Resource Certification through Utah Valley University, which adds to her qualifications and ability to provide the necessary services to the employees of the District.
We are excited to have all of the human resource functions encompassed in one department, and we feel that it will be a tremendous benefit to all of the employees of the District. It is our hope that all District employees will feel that they have a dedicated place to go for all of their human resource related needs. Please watch for updates related to these services and the Human Resources Department on the Human Resources page of the District website.
