Santa Flight brings Santa, donations, and cheer to Fiddlers Elementary School

Fiddlers Elementary School was chosen this year to receive donations and cheer from the Angel Flight (Santa Flight) program.  Private pilots flew into the Cedar City Airport on the morning of December 10, carrying supplies for the school.  The supplies were picked up and transported to Fiddlers Elementary by members of the Utah National Guard.

Students waited anxiously on the east field of the school and gave an enthusiastic welcome as two SUU helicopters landed carrying Santa, Mrs. Claus, and two happy elves.  The children sang to and with Santa and his helpers.  Steve Bollinger, Angel Flight West Wing Leader for Utah, was here to present Michelle Hall, principal of Fiddlers Elementary, with donations to the school from over 40 generous Utahns.  Thank you to Joanne Brattain, local Santa Flight coordinator, CC Airport, Sphere One, pilots, National Guard, donors, Mr. Bollinger, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves, and everyone involved for making a very happy memory for the children and staff of Fiddlers Elementary.

Santa Arrives!
