Make Christmas happy for local citizens by taking an ANGEL ORNAMENT from an “Angel Tree” (they can be found at many local businesses/organizations in town).

Make Fidget Quilts for Preschoolers

We currently have 60 kits, plus instructions, for anyone who would like to make some of these 24″ square fidget quilts for students in our ICSD preschools. Contact Karen Johnson, karen.johnson@ironmail.org, if you are interested. You can pick up kits at the District Office, 2077 West Royal Hunte Drive. Or if you have your own fabric and notions to use, just come by and pick up some instructions. Thank you!

Tell Stories of Service through video

The Utah Education Network has partnered with Next Vista for Learning in supporting their Service Via Video contest. K-12 students are invited to inspire others by telling stories of service using digital video.

These videos are designed to inspire young people to experience the joy and meaning that come from helping others. In these videos, you may describe a project your class or club has done, or an organization doing noble work in your community, or the efforts of a single volunteer.

Details about the Service Via Video contest, including contest rules, student supports, and the entry form can be found on the Next Vista for Learning website.

Also, consider a ServiceViaVideo contest in your school.
