Julie King; New Assistant Prinicpal at Canyon View HIgh School

We are excited to announce that Julie King will join the Canyon View High School community as the new assistant principal beginning with the 2017-18 school year. She will be filling the position left open because of assistant principal Brad Lambeth's retirement at the end of this school year. Julie has been an educator for many years. She began her career in Washington County School District as a teacher at Fossil Ridge Intermediate. Then she came to Iron County and taught English at Cedar High School and worked with their ESL processes and brought the Latinos in Action program to the school. Last year, Julie was hired as an assistant principal in Rock Springs, Wyoming and says that she has "loved this experience". We are pleased that Julie has chosen to return to the Iron County School District, and we know that she will become an integral part of the CVHS leadership team and school community: helping all students to learn at high levels.
