Part-Time Teacher Prep Aide in Music @ East Elementary for 2013-2014.

Description:

This position will be for 23 hours per week and the person selected must have a background in music.

These classified positions involve working directly with students in an academic setting; therefore, we are required to fill these positions with highly qualified candidates. You will need one of the following documents attached to your application:

A photocopy of your posted Associate’s Degree from an accredited university or,
A photocopy of your transcript from an accredited university documenting that you have either 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours of credit or,
A photocopy of your PRAXIS Parapro Test results (a passing score is 460).

Full Time Registrar @ Canyon View High School for 2013-2014.

Description:

This position will be 190 days, 8 hours per day, and includes insurance and State retirement benefits.

Required skills include a working knowledge of PowerSchool (reports, attendance, custom alerts, quick eports, etc.). Attention to detail and a high level of organization. Excellent computer skills are also required (Excel and Word). Knowledge of school registration procedures, high school graduation requirements, and excellent customer service is required.

the following Beverly Taylor Sorensen Art Specialist teaching positions for the 2013-2014 school year.

Description:

1. One full time Theatre Arts position to share between Iron Springs Elementary and E-Valley Elementary.

2. One full time Theatre Arts position to share between East Elementary and Fiddlers Elementary.

3. One 1/2 time Visual Art Specialist at South Elementary.

4. One 1/2 time Visual Art Specialist at Enoch Elementary.

Applicants for these position must be highly qualified and meet the following criteria:

* an educator with a current educator license and a Level 2 or K-12 specialist endorsement of the art form of either visual art, music or theatre; or

* an elementary classroom teacher with a current educator license who is currently enrolled in a Level 2 specialist endorsement program in the art form of either visual art, music or theatre and who works with a mentor who holds a visual art, music or theatre endorsement: or

* a professional artist employed by a public school and accepted into the Board Alternative Route to License (ARL) program under R277-503 to complete a K-12 endorsement in the art form of vusual art, music or theatre, which includes the PRAXIS exam in the case of art, music or theatre.
