Groovefest Run for the Music Quarter Marathon (6.32 mi)

All proceeds benefit the students of the Iron County School District.

June 29, 2013 @ 8:30 P.M. - Start is at Cedar City Aquatic Center, 

 ***Schools, get a team of 5 together and make it a relay! MAP***

(Only one team per school, at least 3 runners on the team must be district employees)

This is NOT your typical "fun run." This evening run begins around dusk.  There will be adventure waiting for you with this one!  About 1/2 mile is UNDERGROUND! See the COURSE HERE. The tunnel will include disco lights, glow sticks, and music! There will be bands to entertain you along the route, and you'll finish at the Groovefest American Music Festival at the Cedar City Main Street Park.  The Festival will be in full swing for you to party away the night once you cross the finish line.  This will definitely be the "grooviest" quarter marathon you'll ever run!

Shuttle information: To accomodate those that wish to park their cars at the finish, a shuttle will run BEFORE the race to take you from the Main Street Park to the start line.  This shuttle will LEAVE the Main Street Park at approximately 7:30 p.m. There will NOT be another shuttle after the race, so if you wish to park at the start line (Cedar City Aquatic Center) you will need to arrange for your own transportation from the finish back to the start to get your car.

Race Cost: $20 until June 27; $25 after June 27 including race-day registrations.

Race cost includes tech race shirt and finish line medal.

Prizes for top 3 male and female racers ages 10-39
